“I want to serve as your County Supervisor because I think Sutter County can be better. Plain and simple. I’m passionate about our community and believe I have what it takes to jump in and start solving problems. Sutter County shouldn’t have to wait any longer…Our Time To Shine is Now. I would be honored to earn your vote.”
Jeff and Cherie owned and operated Stephens Farmhouse for more than 20 years. Over time, they grew the business from a roadside melon stand into a landmark business in Sutter County known for their pies, baked goods, and of course… their melons.
Five years ago, Jeff had a vision of building a grassroots movement to beautify and bring positive change to the Yuba-Sutter community. That’s when he founded SAYLove. Since then, SAYLove has spearheaded countless community projects with thousands of volunteers.
People know Jeff to be a humble leader that isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. Since selling the Farmhouse and much of the farming operation, Jeff spends his days bringing people together to solve problems and taking action to make our community better.
Jeff and Cherie have lived in the same house in the Tudor area for 30+ years. Together they have three children (Megan, Madeline & Sam) and four grandchildren. Jeff serves on the Board of Directors of Hope Point Church where he regularly attends church.
