Roads here have gotten 23% worse since the incumbent was elected in 2016. Yet, roads in Yuba County have improved by 17%. This doesn’t add up. I will request an immediate audit of all local, state, and federal road funding. Is Sutter County getting its fair share from the state’s new gas tax? Is District 5 receiving its fair share in the county? What other funding sources are being ignored? We need to provide full transparency to the taxpaying citizens of Sutter County. I will work to make District 5 a priority for road repair work and eliminate government bureaucracy to save money on repair work.
